9 Tips to Clean up your Home screen on your iPhone

You probably know that your home screen is the main way you interact with your iPhone, but it can be hard to figure out where to start. First, you need to make sure that you are always on the home screen and ready to go. Once you have set this up, we will tell you how to make your home screen more functional and help you out on the most important tasks you do every day.

Screenshots

Screenshots on your iPhone are great. Why? The fact is, you use them to get some information from your phone and then send it to someone or record yourself to post. But you also record these so you can email them to someone else. You can also use them to take a picture of a receipt or print one out.

But, you should get these things in the first place.

Camera

These days you can do everything with the iPhone’s camera. There are tons of apps you can download to make your pictures pop, change the way they look and even add effects. Here are a few tips and tricks to make your pictures even better.

Get the Focus Right

Don’t just point and shoot

Don’t just point and shoot. Unless you are very keen on photography, it’s best to find the best vantage point for your photo. If it is a landscape picture, for example, it might be best to go out and take a few.

The use of the zoom function can make a world of difference when taking photos.

Calendar

You have apps for when you need to arrange meetings, messages for when you need to plan ahead, the calendar is the app that stays out of your way. Instead of fighting with it, just open up the calendar and select an event that you want to add. When the event comes up, you can easily enter a meeting time, along with the time you want to be there. The iPhone automatically fills out all of the details for you, and just a few clicks are all that’s needed to start your meeting.

Keep track of all of the times you’ve signed up for events so you can see at a glance how often you’re signing up for them. You can also view all of your event requests in a list, in case you forgot what was happening.

Notes

Let’s start with the simple yet useful feature of making notes. The iPhone can be set up with a note for each app that you download. So if you download 1 song from iTunes, you can have a note created for that song for you to take notes on. The great thing is that when you go to any note, you can quickly read it. All you have to do is hit the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner and hit the top right button. You’ll then see it, with any notes that you’ve made on there.

To bring up your bookmarks, all you have to do is scroll down until you see the magnifying glass and then hit the magnifying glass. All you have to do is scroll down until you see it again. You’ll then see the icon for you to quickly go to your favorites and any other information.

Reminders

The great thing about a phone is that it has no problem reminding you of important things. It may be that you have a meeting at 10 am and you need to make sure you bring that document with you. A phone will be great at reminding you of those types of things. Not only that, but a phone has the advantage of being able to remind you of reminders with multiple people. If you get an email from your brother or someone else reminding you of something, the phone can then remind you to do the same thing.

Having an iPhone or an iPhone with a great battery is something that can really be the difference between having your phone when you need it and having it when you want it. A phone that is low on the battery can be a huge inconvenience.

Maps

Maps are arguably one of the most powerful features on your iPhone. From finding restaurants to directions to maps, the maps on your phone are one of the most helpful features of them all. Many people will suggest using the maps on Google Maps since it is free, however, I would recommend using your own maps to figure out where you are and the best way to get there. Google maps seem to only be able to give you a rough idea of where you are, which is the best way to learn where you are.

Weather is a great app to have on your iPhone because you can know the weather anywhere, anytime. The great thing is that you can do this without having to be out in the elements. Simply look at the weather in the time you are using the app to find out if it is going to rain or snow.

Calculator

This app is great for students because it has the ability to type in your whole math problem and do a calculation on it. This will save you so much time! No more having to do a whole calculation to find out the answer!

Learn to spell

Lucky for you, you can type in spelling tests and they will spell-check for you. You can also take a picture of your spelling test and it will correct it for you.

The Calculator app will allow you to perform basic functions of math on your iPhones such as converting between decimals and fractions. It will also allow you to quickly figure out your tip at restaurants and even calculate your tip. Although this is a simple, but useful feature, it can be a major timesaver when you are waiting for someone. It is also very useful to calculate in your head if you are in a pinch. If you are at a restaurant and you are supposed to leave a tip and your brain is too tired from reading your fortune cookie, the Calculator app will get the job done.

SmartLock is an incredibly useful feature for people who travel often or who often find themselves locked out of their homes.
